What files must be prepared for the application for the issuance of a Building Construction Permit (IMB) and a Functional Worth Certificate (SLF)?

It should be noted that the regulations regarding IMB in each region must be different. This fact causes the filing requirements in each region are not the same.

However, there are some general files to know and prepare:

IMB Application

  1. Photocopy of the building owner’s ID card.
  2. Land certificate or girik. However, if it is in the form of girik, it is necessary to include a dispute-free letter.
  3. Photocopy of IMB before renovation.
  4. The latest Land and Building Tax Return (SPPT-PBB).
  5. City Planning Decision Letter (KRK).
  6. New building design drawings (plan, front view, side, back).

Also keep in mind, for additional files needed, you can ask the local government directly.

As for the issuance of SLF, it must be ensured that the building construction process has been completed.

If you are ready to apply for SLF, here are some files that you must prepare:

  1. Statement Letter of Functional Eligibility
  2. Checklist for Inspection of Building Functionality;
  3. As Built drawings
  4. Administrative documents, which include:

-Initial IMB or IMB changes if there are changes during construction;

– Document status/proof of building ownership

– Documents of land rights status. (*)
